About our Supplier Code of Conduct
Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the requirements and expectations that apply to suppliers working with Omega Mineral Resources.

Our suppliers must:
✅ Hold the appropriate licence, registration or authorisation required to conduct their mining, production or mineral trading activities.
✅ Provide sufficient information to establish the origin and ownership of minerals offered to Omega.
✅ Maintain records supporting the movement and traceability of minerals through the supply chain.
✅ Cooperate with reasonable verification, inspection, assay and origin checks.
❌ Must not supply minerals from illegal or unauthorised sources.
❌ Must not conceal, misrepresent or falsify the origin, ownership or chain of custody of minerals.
What does this mean in practice?
Our suppliers must:
✅ Comply with applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which they operate.
✅ Maintain valid licences, permits and registrations relevant to their activities.
✅ Provide regulatory and corporate documentation when reasonably requested.
✅ Maintain accurate production, sales, shipment and export records.
❌ Must not engage in bribery, corruption, fraud or unlawful payments.
❌ Must not conduct mineral transactions through structures designed to conceal ownership, origin or beneficial interests.

✅ Manage material impacts relating to land, water, waste, emissions and biodiversity.
✅ Take reasonable measures to prevent pollution and environmental damage.
✅ Where applicable, support progressive rehabilitation of affected areas.
❌ Must not knowingly conduct unlawful mining or mineral activities in protected or restricted areas.
❌ Must not unlawfully discharge hazardous substances or waste into land, waterways or surrounding environments.

Our suppliers must:
✅ Respect the rights and legitimate interests of host communities and affected stakeholders.
✅ Engage appropriately with communities affected by their operations.
✅ Seek to prevent avoidable conflict arising from their activities.
✅ Where appropriate, contribute to positive local economic participation.
❌ Must not knowingly engage in activities that cause unlawful displacement or serious adverse community impacts.
❌ Must not disregard legitimate community concerns relating to their operations.
What does this mean in practice?
Our suppliers must:
✅ Cooperate with Omega's responsible-sourcing and due-diligence requirements.
✅ Provide information reasonably required to assess material supply-chain risks.
✅ Disclose material changes affecting the source, ownership, production or movement of minerals.
✅ Cooperate with enhanced due diligence where the commodity, jurisdiction or circumstances present elevated risk.
❌ Must not knowingly introduce conflict minerals or minerals connected to serious human-rights abuses into the Omega supply chain.
❌ Must not obstruct reasonable due-diligence or verification activities.
For metals and minerals, Omega's approach will be risk-based and progressively aligned with recognised responsible-sourcing practices, including relevant OECD due-diligence principles.

Our suppliers must:
✅ Conduct business honestly and maintain accurate records.
✅ Disclose relevant conflicts of interest.
✅ Provide accurate information regarding mineral grade, quantity, ownership, capacity and availability.
✅ Maintain the confidentiality of commercially sensitive information.
❌ Must not engage in bribery, corruption, fraud or money laundering.
❌ Must not falsify assay reports, certificates, weights, invoices, shipping documents or other transaction records.
❌ Must not misrepresent the same mineral stock to multiple counterparties.
What does this mean in practice?
We expect suppliers and other stakeholders to raise concerns where they identify conduct that may breach Omega's requirements.
✅ Suppliers may raise concerns directly with Omega.
✅ Concerns relating to responsible sourcing, fraud, corruption, human rights, safety or environmental conduct will be reviewed appropriately.
✅ Suppliers are expected to cooperate with reasonable investigations.
✅ Omega will seek to address substantiated concerns through appropriate corrective measures.
❌ Suppliers must not retaliate against individuals who raise legitimate concerns.
❌ Suppliers must not conceal material misconduct or deliberately obstruct an investigation.

A supplier may bring its own commercial relationships and buyer requirements into the Omega ecosystem. The specific rights and responsibilities of each party are established according to the relevant transaction and contractual structure.
Omega applies a risk-based approach to supplier qualification and mineral sourcing.
This includes consideration of mineral origin, ownership, legal status, supply-chain risks, environmental and social considerations and the ability of the supplier to provide appropriate supporting information.
Higher-risk circumstances may require enhanced due diligence or additional verification.
Where a deficiency is identified, Omega may request additional information, verification or corrective action.
Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, Omega may increase monitoring, suspend commercial engagement or terminate the relationship.
